Tomac releases psy-trance music since 2000, both, as a solo project and as Tool with Oliver Twist. Recently he started the psy-breaks project Digipack with 6th Floor, which debuts on cosm records` cosmology compilation. Tomac`s first musical act- ivities can be traced back to a young age starting to play the violin in his childhood.
Since 1989 he experiments with computer music and got infected with psy trancein the mid- nineties in Hamburg. By now he has deepened his knowledge of the matter, technically by graduating in music technology in London and York, and ethnopharmaco- logically extracurricularly as well. Having focussed on research in experimental audio DSP in recent years he now returned to Hamburg and is currently developing an innovative virtual synthesiser and produces more psychedelic dance music. His modern sound keeps strong links to the aesthetics of original psy-trance music, merging past, present and future. Since his debut Tricky Tryptamine on Nephilim Records he ap- peared on various compilations of different labels, most recently with New Kid on the Blog on ov- silence Records` Silicon Spring CD. Watch out for Multiversity and Digipack`s Electronic Outlaw Underground on the upcoming cosm release
